'Stepdub' is an incessant tribal groove that sees the duo exploring far darker, more abstract territories than usual. Awash with brooding atmospherics and malevolent tones, it’s a dystopian vibe from a twisted future that tempers neck-snapping rhythms and gut-churning bass with endless detail and continual progression.
'Cold Harbour' is a straighter groove that offers a less pensive, more energetic vibe. The stepping beats, layered breaks and intricate congas form a strict rhythmical backdrop against which huge sub bass and distorted guitar licks call-and-answer with a satisfying sense of sleaze.
